Kata Tjuta doesn’t get as much love as Uluru but in its own way is just as spectacular, especially in the light of the setting sun. On one of our evenings in Uluru we made the forty-minute journey out to the base of the rock. The flies came with us, unfortunately. While the viewing areas were not quite as good as the ones for Uluru, we still got some great shots of Kata Tjuta, with the gleam of the red rocks glowing in the dying light of the day.
