Going to London and Santorini on an airplane can be boring but when you get there it can be really interesting! Read all about it in my amazing blog post where we visit Warner Brothers, see Matilda the musical, and tour Santorini!

You may know that Harry Potter rides a broom but did you know that the broom was not actually flying in the air? Our first stop was to the stunning Harry Potter studios where we got to see all the props. All of the props were amazing, like the huge, immense and towering model of Hogwarts. It isn’t live sized but it is amazing. The Hogwarts castle took eight weeks to build. When you go in, you see a massive, giant and colossal dragon. It is called a Ukrainian Ironbelly and it looks almost real. I am a dragon nerd so this was the best thing ever! When we got in, one of the areas was the set for the Forbidden Forest. Oops! I am not supposed to go in because students are not allowed to go in due to there being spiders, werewolf and a hippogryph named Buckbeak! It was dark and spooky and it was amazing how everything looked real, like the trees.

Sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty! That is what I learned when I saw Matilda the Musical. I had a lot of fun at the theatre. The musical was hilarious! One of the funniest parts was at the end because the actors rode on scooters around the stage while we were clapping. The props were amazing. The desks rose out of the floor and there were swings that came down dramatically from the ceiling. The music was great. My favorite song was “When I Grow Up” because of the fantasy of being a grownup. Being a grownup looks incredible but it is not because of the bills and paperwork. So much paperwork!

After London, we went to Santorini in Greece. There used to be a volcano in the center of the island but, guess what? It blew up! Santorini was amazing. It has a cliff with a town on it beautifully decorated with windmills, blue domes and more. We went to a little town called Oia. We walked for three hours. when came back from our three-hour hike up and down mountains, we went to the pool and, when we cannonballed in, we discovered that the pool was so cold, it gave you a brain freeze! Remember the three-hour hike I told you about? Guess why we went? We went to take pictures. Pictures! Dad wants to take memories but I still think it was a waste of time even though it was a beautiful town.

I hope you enjoyed hearing about the Harry Potter studio tour, Matilda the musical, and Santorini. See you next time in Israel!
